“Dogs are not our whole lives, but they make our lives whole”
There are films that are objectively appreciated based on the multiple layers it displayed in a single scene, a graceful performance or a strong script. But once in a while there comes a film that directly touches your heart , makes you cry and reminds you that at the end of the day you’re still a human with emotions. 777 Charlie successfully captures the essence of having a dog as a pet and for anyone who has ever had a dog or likes them in general will be taken through a rollercoaster of emotions by the journey of Charlie and her pet father Dharma.
Charlie is a labrador retriever which ends up at the home of a local recluse Dharma. The routine life he led undergoes a transformation owing to the power of having a dog at home. Dharma starts to love his life again after a long time. A ride full of ups and downs that shows us the loyalty and nobility of the creature. An ode to why a dog is man’s best friend.
Usually it’s the climax of the film that either puts a smile on your face or tears you up. However Charlie777 does both for people who like pets from the get go. Catch the warmth and love of Charlie on the big screen if you are fond of dogs.
Emotional. Heart Warming. Wholesome.
Verdict – 6/7 stars.
