A love story between A flute player and A eunuch truly makes you believe in that love has no gender, caste, religion and all of that. The pain and suffering of Puti and Madhu da, really touches the audience.

Extraordinary performances of Ritwik & Riddhi adds more intensity to their characters. Riddhi Sen has given one of the finest performances ever seen on Indian movies (one that not only fetched him the award for Best Actor at the 65th National Film Awards in 2018 but also drove jury chairperson Shekhar Kapur to hail it a ‘world-beating performance’). Ritwick Chakraborty also wins everyone’s hearts.

This movie sure is an inspiration to the society and reminds us that transgenders too are human, and they too have emotions. I think this movie is just perfect and would recommend others to see it.

Verdict: 6/7 stars.

Brilliant.
