“Before the witch’s final breath, she found a way to cheat her death”
For teenagers from the 90s, RL Stine was the go-to author for bone-chilling horror. With a few lines of text , he could give the readers ‘ Goosebumps’ : a classic series penned by him. Although the film adaptation of the same was disappointing, Netflix has got a winner with the adaptation of Stine’s Fear Street with Fear Street Part One: 1994.
The film as per the novel takes place in a fictional town called Shadyside. It has been known for regular occurrences of serial killers. Owing to that, the city is viewed as one that is doomed with no hope. Little do the dwellers know that the perpetrators were not a random occurrence.
The plot follows a group of teenagers as they attempt to uncover the truth behind the murders. They discover horrific truths as facts begin to unravel. Will they succeed or will they fail? You can never tell when it’s Stine. But fret not as Netflix is releasing Part Two: 1978 and Part Three: 1966 in a matter of weeks. Stay tuned for more chills and thrills
